Chanyeol successfully wraps up his 2024 LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape) in MANILA!
When Chanyeol said last year that he hopes to meet and enjoy with PH EXO-Ls in 2024 he really meant it!
On October 19, PH EXO-Ls and Yeolmaes had the chance to reunite with their cherry prince at his 2024 LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape) in MANILA held at the Araneta Coliseum, the venue was filled with ecstatic fans and a beautiful silver ocean!
As always, PH EXO-Ls warmly welcomed him with loud cheers as the star of the show entered the stage while performing his latest single, Back Again followed by the song, Good Enough. “What’s up Manila! Long time no see, I’m Chanyeol, good to see you again. Are you guys having fun? Me too!” He once again proved how great his Tagalog speaking skills were by saying, “Kumusta? namiss ko kayo. Salamat po!”
Chanyeol was amazed at the huge crowd and mentioned that his heart was beating so fast. He then officially welcomed everyone at his 2024 LIVE TOUR: 都市風景 (City-scape) in MANILA! He shared that when he arrived in Manila 3 days ago before the event, he ate plenty of delicious foods and said that he loved mango.
Moreover, along with the crowd, Chanyeol sang Stay with Me, one of the hit OST songs of the popular 2016 series, Goblin. He also serenaded the crowd with the webtoon’s She is My Type soundtrack, Minimal Warm, and the song, Yours. He complimented everyone and said, “Ang ganda n’yong lahat” and stated that everyone was such a great singer.
Chanyeol is really a total performer; he never ceases to amaze everyone with his extraordinary talents. He also showcased his captivating talent in playing the guitar with Guns N’ Roses, Sweet Child of Mine, Eagles’ Hotel California, and Green Day’s Basket Case.
Furthermore, in the “Manila City-scape” segment, six photos of him were flashed on the big screen, and shared what is about those photos. After seeing those, everyone couldn’t help to exclaim “pogi” (which means handsome). Chanyeol was so shy and responded, “Salamat po”. One photo insinuates that he will release something that the fans will surely like.
One of the highlights of the show was when he wowed everyone by singing Lola Amour’s song, Raining in Manila. He loves the fans so much that he grants the request for them to sing it one more time, he shared that it was actually his first time listening to this song as he was preparing for the tour, and he really liked the song.
Chanyeol expressed his gratitude to everyone for coming. He said because of his fans, every process from the preparation up until that moment is so fun for him and the next time when he comes back to the Philippines, he will prepare a new song.
Towards the end of the show, Chanyeol performed EXO’s Just as Usual. “I’m going back to Korea tonight and I really don’t wanna go home but of course, if you guys call me back, I’ll fly anytime to be here.” He said he was really happy and reminded everyone to eat a lot of delicious foods and always take good care of themselves and he will also do the same. “Don’t feel so bad because I’m always gonna be so ready to be back anytime with better music. Annyeong! Mahal Kita,” his heartfelt message to everyone.
Throughout the show, he performed a total of 22 songs, including his singles, Tomorrow, Hasta La Vista, Ease Up, Clover, Black Out, SSFW, and I’m on Your Side Too, EXO’s hit songs, Lotto, Tempo, Monster, Obsession, Growl, and Hear Me Out, and also EXO-SC’s songs, Telephone, Just Us 2, and Nothin’.
PH EXO-Ls and Yeolmaes created another precious memory with Park Chanyeol that they will treasure forever!
