Choi Hyunwook and Moon Gayoung to star in new tvN drama “Black Salt Dragon”
New kdrama pairing coming up!
Choi Hyunwook and Moon Gayoung are confirmed to star on upcoming tvN drama “Black Salt Dragon”. This is set to be broadcast on the first half of 2025.
“Black Salt Dragon” is a webtoon-based drama which revolves on the love story of Ban Joo Yeon (Choi Hyunwook) and Baek Soo Jung (Moon Gayoung). Their first encounter was in an online game during their school days. After 16 years, they will reunite in real life as boss and employee.
Hyunwook’s character, Ban Joo Yeon, is a perfectionist and sole successor of his family’s conglomerate. He is the head of strategic planning division of Yongseong Department Store.
Meanwhile, Gayoung plays the role of Baek Soo Jung. She is a hardworking and skilled employee who is very outstanding with her job. She is also a source of Ban Joo Yeon’s headaches due to her strong personality and eagerness to fight back whenever the situation calls for it.
Being two of the most promising of their generation, they already starred on various dramas. Some of Gayoung’s series are Tempted, True Beauty, Welcome to Waikiki 2, and The Interest of Love. As for Hyunwook, some of his dramas are Racket Boys, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Weak Hero Class 1, and Twinkling Watermelon.
