Filipino actress Kyline Alcantara’s ambassadorship as Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism in the Philippines has been extended by the Korea Tourism Organization’s (KTO) Manila Office for an additional year.
This marks the second year of her role, as she was initially appointed back in April 2022.

Alcantara’s reappointment comes in light of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and the Philippines, as well as to support the Visit Korea Year 2024 campaign.
Her enthusiasm for Korean culture and heritage, coupled with her growing popularity as an actress, singer, and performer, makes her a fitting choice for the position.
As an honorary ambassador, Alcantara will represent KTO Manila in various promotional campaigns, programs, and events across the Philippines. Her responsibilities include visiting Korea and sharing her experiences through her social media channels.
She will also participate in events organized by KTO and other Korean government agencies, as well as key initiatives like familiarization tours, travel seminars, and travel fairs.
Alcantara is the third Filipino actress to hold this title, previously held by Jessy Mendiola from 2013 to 2016 and Sue Ramirez from 2016 to 2019.
