Moments of Wonder in The Rose’s “Dawn to Dusk” Tour in Manila 2024!

PH Black Roses’ hearts were not “Sour” anymore because they met their precious The Rose at their “Dawn to Dusk” Tour in Manila on January 26 at the Araneta Coliseum.
This is their third headlining tour in Manila following their, We Rose You Live Tour in 2019 and Heal Together World Tour in 2023.
It was one for the books for every PH Black Roses as they had a blast along with their “Cosmo” and their “Lifeline”. The arena was filled with loud cheers from the fans as they danced and sang along with them.
Let us all reminisce all the moments of wonder that night.
Electrifying performances
The Rose’s performances never disappoint! They performed a total of 21 songs throughout the night.
The show kicked off with their song, Eclipse, one of the tracks under their latest album, DUAL. PH Black Roses warmly welcomed them with ecstatic energy. The initial performance was followed by You’re Beautiful, Shift, and Lifeline.
Woosung was the first person who greet the crowd, followed by Dojoon, Jaehyeong, and Hajoon. “We are happy to be here”, Woosung expressed.
Woosung asked the crowd who came to their last show and figured out that half of it was in attendance and the other half was not, Dojoon thanked all the fans who came to their last show, “And for the other half, why didn’t you come last year?” He’s so funny as always. “Well, come back next time with your friends”, Woosung added.
The show continued as The Rose performed their hit song, Red. The crowd was so energetic, jumping along to the rhythm of the song and shouting at the top of their lungs, “I wanna be Red!”. Nauseous was the next song they performed and the songs, Back to Me and Yes succeeded.
Woosung was once again amazed by how PH Black Roses cheered and the different energy of Filipinos they gave to them. He said, “You guys are truly Filipinos. I could see that you guys are filling in half this concert with your voices, so thank you so much”. (yes! Woosung PH Crowd things 🤭)
Woosung reminisced about the old times when they were just starting their career he shared that The Rose had been together for 7 years, and they started their music at a place called Hongdae, in Korea. They performed on the street and when they had their first official show in a very small venue, it had 15 to 20 people attended there and more than half of them were their friends.
“And after 7 years, we are here in front of you guys, sharing our energy, sharing our music, we really believe that’s the beauty of music, we think it’s the universal language”, he said.
He pointed out that they also believed that music is healing and music can move people’s hearts and find people who need it. So they are so thankful for music.
After that heartfelt quote, Woosung alongside his bandmates, Dojoon, Jaehyeong, and Hajoon performed the song Sorry, it’s the Root of The Rose’s Sound, their debut song which was released in 2017.
Time, Beauty and the Beast, Angel, Definition of Ugly Is, Take Me Down, Alive, Sorry, Cure and She’s in the Rain were among the songs they performed.
Climax of the show
Jaehyeong thanked all the fans and said that they are where they are now because of them. Everything became possible because of the Black Roses.
We had so much fun that we didn’t notice the time. We were at the climax of the show. If we could freeze time at that moment we would do it to stay longer with them. They performed Sour, for their third to last song, “Black Roses always remember that The Rose’s hearts will be forever sour without you”, Woosung expressed.
While performing the song, Woosung shouted, “Manila, thank you so much for having us. We are The Rose and We Rose You!” How sweet of him!
The Rose continued to hype the crowd with their song, Cosmo. Everyone was jumping and singing along, we were in the happiest place on earth!
“Manila! We will cherish this great love and energy tonight thank you so much, Thank you for taking time, taking part in this beautiful journey. Whoever you came with, whether it’s your friend, your lover, your family, I hope you, guys, had great time like us today. Lastly, Black Roses, we will go wherever our music takes us, so please remember, if we are together, I suppose every second will be moments of wonder.”

The show wrapped up with their song, Wonder and the members gave red Roses to lucky PH Black Roses who came that night.
Black Roses Fan Project
Ahead of the event, PH Black Roses showed their unfailing love and support for their beloved band by putting lampshade banners near the event venue area and preparing a hand banner for them.
They also gathered at the “Black Rose Garden” Fan Zone area, meeting their fellow Black Roses, giving away freebies, and taking photos in the photo booth. The Rose’s LED display was also presented at the Quantum Skyview that day.
