AO EXCLUSIVE: A sweet afternoon with GOT7’s Bambam at his press conference and fan sign event for Area 52 in Manila!

It was a bit rainy Thursday afternoon but it’s not a problem as we finally met again one of GOT7‘s talented members, Bambam

His media press conference and fan sign event for Area 52 in Manila was held at Quantum Skyview in Gateway Mall. Our man of the hour entered the venue looking so dashing and pogi with his all-black outfit. He was welcomed with loud cheers from Ahgase (GOT7’s’s fandom name), the media, and everyone who came to his event.

Media press conference

South Korean singer and vlogger Jinho Bae hosted the event. Bambam said that Area 52 was inspired by a place in America called Area 51 and he liked the concept of aliens so much. While number 52 is from his birthday which is May 2nd.

Bambam mentioned that he is really excited to meet and show everyone the things that he prepared. He added Manila as the first stop since he’s impressed with Filipinos. He loved the energy so much and wanted to feel the heat before he started his world tour.

When asked about his special guest at his concert, his Ate Dara, he said that he was very happy that they became really close fast and she told him about a Filipino food balut which he would like to try.

Annyeong Oppa was also very lucky as one of our questions got chosen! Since his concert’s theme is about space and aliens, we asked him, “If you were to travel to space, what are the 3 things that you would like to bring with you?”

He said that it would be safer to travel with more people so he would bring the Ahgases with him, water, and air.

Look: We are so kilig! He waved at us!

Fan sign event

After his press conference, his fan sign event followed shortly. Winners got a chance to meet Bambam up close and have their posters signed. A lovely fan came in a wedding dress. Some even taught him new Filipino words like “amaccana” and “eme lang“.
