Super Junior’s Eunhyuk has been chosen as the new host of the well-loved variety show, “Weekly Idol!”
On April 16, Korean news outlet Mydaily reported that Eunhyuk will be joining Kwanghee as the new MC on Weekly Idol.
It was later on confirmed by MBC every1. They’ve also stated that he already finished recording the first episode.
Eunhyuk will be appearing on April 22, airing at 5 PM KST. MBC every1 also mentioned GOT7 as guests of the episode.
Previously, it was announced that Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee are stepping down as MCs of Weekly Idol.
Since late February, the show was hosted by Kwanghee and special MCs. Eunhyuk was the first special MC for its February 19 episode.
Meanwhile, Weekly Idol has been running on a new format. Due by popular demand, “Random Play Dance” is back. It was hailed as the best segment by its viewers. Also, “VS Project” is a new segment wherein idols reenact their pre-debut footages.
ELFs are celebrating and laughing at the announcement citing previous comments by Eunhyuk himself.
