AO EXCLUSIVE: HORI7ON looks back on their favorite performances, shares plans to connect to fans globally through their music

Ahead of the much-awaited concert of HORI7ON on September 9th, a press conference was held on September 7th for the media.

The Annyeong Oppa team was given the chance to ask questions to the members.

“The global K-POP fanbase is incredibly diverse. How do you plan to connect with fans from different parts of the world and make your music accessible to a wide audience?”

Vinci said that K-POP in general is a vast majority of genres and he thinks that that’s what makes it easier for them to penetrate any market that they would like.

“Music in general can naturally penetrate any global demographic so I hope everyone is open for HORI7ON and I hope HORI7ON really makes it globally.”, he added.

For Marcus, having their songs in different languages makes their music global. In the future, he would like to have songs in more languages so other nationalities can relate to their songs better. Their debut album Friend-SHIP contains songs in Korean, English, and Filipino.

“Out of all your performances since your debut, what was your personal favorite?”

Vinci: Mine is Music Bank. The first Music Bank (performance). Everyone was shining at that time. Everyone was having a good time.

Marcus: I love the Music Core from Ulsan and Cheonan. With the festival that they held, we were so happy that they invited HORI7ON and the audience there was crazy, there were so many people there and it’s actually one of the more important performances for HORI7ON.

Winston: For me, that would be Music Core as well. Lalo na po nung nag-wear po ako ng pink outfit, which I like the most. A lot of Filipino fans came at that time, as well as Korean fans, and we heard their chants and shouts for us so we’re very grateful for that.

Jeromy: For me naman po is The Show kasi po nag-second place po kami dun. (HORI7ON was shocked when they were told they were nominated for second place. Good job, Anchors!)

Very memorable.

Marcus: That was our debut stage. Super memorable.

As an Anchor, it was an honor to be able to ask questions that I was also curious about. Their improvement in answering questions was evident and it was truly a joy to see them being happy in front of the media, sharing their stories and experiences with everyone.

Thank you for this opportunity, DNM Entertainment!

We can’t wait to see the performances HORI7ON will give us on September 9th for their first-ever concert. See you there!
