Jeon So Min who appears weekly in the variety show ‘Running Man‘ has been confirmed to star in upcoming movies ‘Only God Knows Everything‘ and ‘18 Youth‘.

ONLY GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING

Early this year, it was announced that actors Jeon So Min, Shin Seung Ho, and Han Ji Eun with Park Myung Hoon have come together for the movie ‘Only God Knows Everything’.

Directed by Baek Seung Hwan, it is a mystery-thriller movie that tells the story of a newly ordained priest (Shin Seung Ho) receiving a shocking confession about the death of his mother who disappeared 13 years ago, falling into a dilemma between a believer and a natural person, and uncovering a huge hidden secret.

In addition, Han Ji Eun will play the character of Joo Young, a homicide detective who digs up mysterious disappearance cases. Park Myung Hoon plays the role of Kwang Woon, a bizarre and violent shaman. And Jeon So Min predicts a different transformation with the role of Soo Yeon, a mad woman who falls into pseudoscience.

Yoo Seong Joo, Lee Jung Ok, and Nam Joong Gyu, who have solid acting skills, will also appear in the movie.

‘Only God Knows Everything’ is the first movie project of CJ ENM O’PEN, a project to discover and nurture new creators. It is expected to be released this 2023.

18 YOUTH

’18 Youth’ (tentative title, director Eo Il Seon) starring Jeon So Min and Kim Do Yeon was announced today with the released stills from the script-reading along with the filming news of the movie.

It is a movie depicting the meeting of Hee Joo, a cool teacher who is well-received by students for her unique educational perspective and scorned by fellow teachers, and Soon Jung, an 18-year-old high school student whose eccentric homeroom teacher is annoying.

The movie is based on the coming-of-age novel entitled ‘Your Presence at 18’.

Jeon So Min, who captivates viewers with movies, dramas, and entertainment, will play the role of Hee Joo, and Kim Do Yeon of Weki Meki, who has established herself as an acting idol, will play the role of Soon Jung.

Prior to filming, Jeon So Min said, “I sympathized with Hee Joo, who is trying to communicate with her students in her own way. I will try to portray a slightly eccentric and charming teacher who is like a friend. Please look forward to it.”

Kim Do Yeon who will be acting in her debut movie said, “I’m nervous and excited because it’s my first movie. I’ll try to show a new side of me, so please support me a lot.”

’18 Youth’ is scheduled to be released in 2024.
