Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, and more confirm for ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ sequel
The storyline of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon starring Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will continue to give joy to the viewers but now with Bong Soon’s distant cousin, Kang Nam Soon as the main character.
Kang Nam Soon’s mother, Geum Joo and grandmother Gil Joong Gan also have the superpower in this sequel titled, Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon as it takes in a global three ladies with powers.
Actors Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, Kim Jong Eun, and Kim Hae Sook confirmed their casting roles in the said series on May 27 and completed the unique and powerful lineup.
Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon centers on the reality of new drug crimes that happen in Gangnam with Lee Yoo Mi who appeared in the well-known series Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead, playing the main role of Kang Nam Soon.
Kang Nam Soon is a cheerful young woman with great strength who became a missing child in Mongolia and came to Gangnam to find her parents.
Kim Jung Eun will star as Hwang Geum Joo, a wealthy and righteous woman in Gangnam who has obsessively been doing good things to find her lost daughter, while Kim Hae Sook plays Kang Nam Soon’s maternal grandmother, Gil Joong Gan.
Moreover, Ong Seong Wu will be playing the role of Kang Hee Sik, a detective from secret investigation team unit that is investigating the drug crimes in Gangnam, and Byun Woo Seok as a charming villain named Ryu Si Oh.
Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will begin filming this summer, and the drama will air in the first half of next year, 2023.
