Hikaru Ezaki is one of two Japanese members of Kep1er. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan, on March 12, 2004.

Early Career
Before joining Kep1er, Hikaru spent her childhood in Japan. In order to enhance her talents in the entertainment sector, she studied at Avex Artist Academy in Japan, wherein she had the opportunity to make her debut as part of a duo.
Debut with +GANG
Hikaru made her debut as a member of the +GANG in 2016 when she was 12 years old. +GANG is made up of Hikaru and Rion, it’s a pair that debuted under Avex Artist Academy, a well-known entertainment company in Japan. Unfortunately, +GANG was disbanded in 2018.
Debut with Kep1er
It was announced that Hikaru will appear in Girls Planet 999 as one of the contestants last July 2021.
During the show’s finale, she was named as the seventh-place, gaining her membership in Kep1er. The group made their debut on January 3, 2022, with the release of their first mini-album, ‘First Impact,’ which featured the title single ‘WA DA DA.’
Contract with Avex
Despite the fact that Kep1er, barely debuted on January 3 of this year, it appears that Hikaru is already planning for her future in the industry!
Hikaru has stated that after her contract with Kep1er expires, she plans to join a female group that will be a collaboration between South Korea and Avex.
The girl group will be known as XG, and it is scheduled to debut in 2022. It will also be produced by Simon, a former member of the DMTN who has been working on the project for the past five years.
Hikaru will not immediately join the group considering she still is a member of Kep1er when they debut, but Simon has stated that she will join XG after her time with the group in 2024.
