Choi Soo Young in talks to star in new romantic drama along with Jang Geun Suk
We may be seeing Choi Soo Young and Jang Geun Suk together in one drama.
Saram Entertainment revealed on August 2 that Choi Soo Young received a casting offer in an upcoming romantic drama, Unexpected Country Diary, and currently reviewing it.
The said drama depicts a love story of a man from Seoul and a policewoman who crosses their path in the countryside.
If Soo Young accepts the offer, she will portray the role of a fearless policewoman named Ahn Ja Young who is the type of person which you can rely on in times of need.
Choi Soo Young recently appeared in a rom-com series, So I Married the Anti-Fan, Run On, and Move to Heaven; she is one of the talented members of the Korean girl group, SNSD.
On the other hand, it was reported on July 8 that Jang Geun Suk is in talks as well in the said drama and received a casting offer to play the role of Han Ji Yool, a veterinarian from Seoul who starts living in the countryside.
He is a singer and actor who’s remarkable for his roles in Love Rain, Pretty Man, You’re Beautiful, and Marry Me, Mary.
This might be his comeback drama after the drama Switch in 2018 if he accepts the offer.
