‘Sky Castle’ was a big hit drama that led the actress to stardom. Hye Yoon’s portrayal of an ambitious and hateful high schooler gained her the Best New Actress award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.
In 2019, Hye Yoon starred in her first leading role with ‘Extraordinary You’ along with SF9’s Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook. The series was a success especially overseas which further increased Hye Yoon’s recognition.
