EVERYONE’S KPOP MANILA: KPop Playground 2025
On June 21st, a day of celebration for all things K-pop, ‘2025 Everyone’s Kpop Manila‘ by Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC), was held at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas and hosted by Cyrille Estapia.
Philippine KPop Convention Inc. (PKCI) kicked off the event with ‘Kpop Playground 2025‘ as the first part of the celebration – bringing fun activities such as games and quizzes. Different fan clubs participated with interactive booths to engage with every attendee as well.
J2RB opened the program with a medley of KPop hits and rising Ppop group New:ID hyped the crowd with a cover of ‘You Were Beautiful’ by Day6 and performances of their pre-debut singles ‘E.R‘ and ‘Deja Vu’.
‘KPop Playground 2025’ also featured a segment by the Korea Copyright Protection Agency (KCOPA). They shared a presentation that tackles Korean copyright laws and discussed its importance for artists and creatives, highlighting the effects of streaming and consuming content from illegal sites and platforms.
The program continued with the ‘Idol Talk’ segment with Vinci and Marcus of HORI7ON, where they share their experiences as global pop idols and even picked some messages and questions from their fans.
The program ended with a fun random play dance and Ppop sensation VXON opening the KPop Cover Dance Festival with hot performances of their singles ‘SSP (Saksak Sa Puso)’, ‘KNT (Kanta Ng Tanga)’ and ‘SSI (Sh*t Sobrang Init)’.
