INFINITE member and actor Kim Myungsoo (L) confirmed to enlist next year and will join the Marine Corps at the end of February as stated by his agency on December 28.
“Kim Myungsoo recently planned and volunteered to enlist in the Marine Corps, in which he passed the application and is looking forward to fulfill his defense duties in the desired field,” they added.
Moreover, INFINITE is still in hiatus because of the other members’ military duties and he is currently busy with his ongoing drama, Secret Royal Inspector as a main lead along with Kwon Nara and Lee Yi Kyung.
After the said KBS’ historical drama, he then scheduled to enlist in Marine Corps as he plans to meet the fans through the drama before his enlistment and will be discharged in August 2022 (estimated).
Furthermore, he debuted as an idol in 2010 and later on entered the acting industry and portrayed numerous roles such as a fake emperor in The Emperor: Ruler of the Mask, judge in Miss Hammurabi, human-cat in Meow: Secret Boy, and known as Angel Dan in Angel’s Last Mission: Love.
