Nam Joo Hyuk, looking good in a dark blue sweater and Bae Suzy in a silky white business blouse, give a head start to what the drama is all about.
After introducing their names, Bae Suzy continued, “Start-Up is a drama about young people growing and dreaming of success in Sand Box, a Silicon Valley-esque place.”
“It will be available worldwide to viewers through Netflix, so please show a lot of love and interest,” Nam Joo Hyuk added.
The shoutout video ended with, “See you on Netflix,” as they said it in chorus.
Nam Joo Hyuk is playing the role of Nam Do San, founder of Samsan Tech and he was once the pride of his family for being a math genius.
Unfortunately, he is labeled now as a disgrace to his family because his AI business has been going down for the past two years.
Moreover, because Dal Mi (Bae Suzy) mistakenly remembers him as her first love, he decides to work his way up hoping that the misunderstanding will turn into reality.
Bae Suzy, on the other hand, portrays the character of Seo Dal Mi, who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs.
She doesn’t have an elite background but she’s very passionate about her work and has a lot of experience in various part-time jobs that make her grow into a person with great vitality.
Along with the two are the other casts, Kim Seon Ho and Kang Han Na that also have a great part in the drama.
Start-Up has started airing on October 17 at 10 PM PST and currently has four worth-watch episodes; it is a Saturday-Sunday drama that receives positive feedback even on the pilot episode.
