A possibility of a Kang Ha Neul-Son Ye Jin drama is currently in talks!
According to OSEN, Actress Son Ye Jin received an offer to play the lead role in the upcoming drama, Pyeonggang, Cut by the Heart (currently working title). A source from Ye Jin’s agency claimed that the actress is currently considering the offer.
Aside from Ye Jin, Actor Kang Ha Neul has also been offered the male lead role. As of writing, both Son Ye Jin and Kang Ha Neul didn’t confirmed their roles yet.
Should the two confirm, Ye Jin will portray the drama’s heroine, Princess Pyeonggang. Ha Neul on the other hand will portray Ondal who’ll pair with Ye Jin.
The upcoming drama is based on a Korean tale about Princess Pyeonggang who married a hunchbacked commoner named Ondal. The drama will focus on the love story of the two leads.
Recently, Kang Ha Neul received a best actor award for his drama, When The Camellia Blooms. Son Ye Jin gain popularity from her hit drama, Crash Landing On You alongside Hyun Bin. Son Ye Jin is also the newest SMART ambassador.
