During this time of crisis, all we have to do is to stay at home and binge-watch our favorite movies and K-Dramas.
Any K-drama and K-Beauty enthusiasts here? We found this underrated Korean drama that you will surely enjoy watching while staying safe at home. This is an interesting plot to all of K-drama and K-beauty fangirls since it tackles the interesting life of make-up artists, their assistants and their clients (AKA our favorite celebrities).
Channel A’s Touch stars ‘Sky Castle’ and ‘Her Private Life’ actress Kim Bo Ra alongside ‘Welcome to Waikiki 2’ and ‘Good Doctor’ actor Joo Sang Wook with ‘W: Two Worlds’ and ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’ actor Lee Tae Hwan.
Touch tells the story of a struggling idol trainee of 10 years, Han Soo Yeon (Kim Bo Ra) and a well-known professional make-up artist Cha Jeong Hyeok who’s been in a miserable situation and making his comeback to the make-up industry. They meet in an unexpected way and Soo Yeon ended up working as an assistant to Jeong Hyeok after a scandal ended her career as an idol trainee. Meanwhile, Kang Do Jin (Lee Tae Hwan) is a popular actor and Soo Yeon’s bestfriend who harbors a secret feelings towards her.
Jess Unnie: For me, it was not the best drama compared to those K-dramas that I’ve watched before. But what I like about this drama is it’s simplicity and moral lessons that they shared to their viewers. It’s about realizing your inner dream and how the lead characters stayed strong during tbeir darkest times. And bes, it’s about make up! Who doesn’t love make up? Touch taught us to become a better person by being beautiful inside and out. This drama deserves to be recognized. This is why I love watching underrated dramas. And bes! You’re gonna get a 2nd lead syndrome to Lee Tae Hwan’s character here! 😍
