Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun confirmed to star on tvN’s upcoming drama “Queen Cheorin”.
According from the report on June 05, Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun will be the lead of “Queen Cheorin” alongside Bae Jong Ok and Kim Tae Woo.
“Queen Cheorin” is a romantic-comedy historical drama which tells the story of man who trapped inside the body of Joseon’s dynasty queen.
Shin Hye Sun will portray the role as Queen Kim So Yong wherein a male soul is trapped inside her body.
Moreover, Kim Jung Hyun will take the role of King Cheol Jong. He is known for being an easy-going king on the outside but he is a king with a strong inner side.
Kim Jung Hyun is known for his character in “School 2017” drama and in comedy series “Welcome to Waikiki.“
His name became a popular topic again when he portrayed as Alberto Gu (second lead) in his recent drama “Crash Landing On You.”

Actress Shin Hye Sun is currently in talks to star in a new historical drama!
News1 reported that actress Shin Hye Sun has received an offer to be the lead actress of tvN’s upcoming historical drama “Queen Cheorin”.
It was then confirmed by YNK Entertainment, stating that Shin Hye Sun is currently reviewing and considering the offer.
“Queen Cheorin” will be a comedy Sageuk (historical) drama set during Joseon era which depicts the story about a man named Bong Hwan who lives in the present world.
His soul will then be trapped inside the body of a female queen who lives in the Joseon dynasty.
The drama is written by Park Gye Ok who also wrote Doctor Prisoner and Inspiring Generation. Production will be under PD Yoon Sung Shik.
Shin Hye Sun made appearances in many dramas such as Legend of the Blue Sea, My Golden Life, Thirty but Seventeen and Angel’s Last Mission: Love.
“Queen Cheorin” will premiere this coming November 2020.
