After finishing their recent comeback promotions, Super Junior finally lauched the 8th installment of their signature world tour concert franchise; Super Show 8: Infinite Time.
Starting with their 2-day sold out shows in Seoul last October 12 & 13, the group is already scheduled in Saitama, Osaka, Fukuoka and Bangkok. Recently it was officially announced by Pulp Live World that they will also be gracing us for a show in Manila on December 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Ticketing details for their Manila show are not yet announced and some of you might still be thinking about why you should see this show. So to help you decide and probably get everyone excited, here are some things from the Super Show 8 in Seoul that we are also looking forward to see here in Manila. (Don’t worry, I’ll try to keep the spoilers as vague as possible but let’s just say that I warned you.)
1. The Stage design will surely amaze you
Directors Lee Hyukjae and Director Shin Donghee really outdid themselves with the stage design and production for Super Show 8 (SS8). Trust me, the stage shaped as an “8” that also symbolizes “infinity” is just the tip of the iceberg. If we manage to replicate this set here in Manila, everybody who will attend shall experience a visual feast show.
2. This concert setlist is something that ELF (especially Grannies) have been wishing for years
Some of you who are reading this might have spoiled themselves and already saw the setlist on an SNS post somewhere. But I won’t spoil it for those who are still clueless. It will be a great experience to get surprised by their songs during the show that will make one go “Aww” “Oh, This song!” and “This is nostalgic!”.
Just remember that this a setlist like No other. *wink*
3. Bring your Superbong whether old or new
If you are planning to buy that new Superbong version, do it. You won’t regret it after all. But if you’re on a tight budget, version 1 will do its job well.
Actually, both versions will have its participation on the show by each playing its vital role. One thing I’ll reveal is that this time our Superbongs will really work hard during the whole show as they will be an important part of the production.
4. Prepare yourselves for their Ments
This will be Super Junior’s first world tour after their “Militatus” so there will be a lot of things to say. There’s even a hint from the organizer that the show could run up to 4 hrs. (Well, it happened in Seoul so we can also hope for it here in Manila. After all, additional 30 minutes worth of talking is nothing for these guys.)
5. There’s a lot more surprises that I’d like to tell you one by one but I shouldn’t so just help yourself and watch the show
The members claim that this Super Show is really one of the best show production that they did and I have to say that they are not lying. The show will really serve you everything that you need. It will also take you to a roller coaster of emotions as it will make you cry on one moment and laugh hard on the next one.
The show will break all the roles established within the group that will make you question your beliefs as a fan (lol).
Lastly, Super Junior really put their best foot forward with this show so I guess wherever they go the audience will also try to outdo themselves and cheer for them louder than all the cheers that they have done in the past.
