LOOK: Kim Heechul is having a ‘big screen’ comeback — but there’s a catch!

Actor Kim Heechul is back for a new film! But as usual, things won’t go the normal way.

Actually, he will be lending his voice to a cat that looks very much like Heebum, Heechul’s 13 year-old russian blue cat.

The film director posted on his IG account

The film is an official competition entry to the 2019 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BiFan), an annual international film festival held in Bucheon, South Korea every July.

The film is titled “나만 없어 고양이” with literal title: “I Only Have Cats”. It is about the stories of four different persons and their cat. Each of them are suffering on their own pains and the film will be focusing on how theirs special relationship with their cats can help them ease their pain. The film synopsis already tells you that every cat lover should watch it.

The movie was directed by Bok Woonsuk and Shin Hyejin. It will be shown during the BiFan from June 27 to July 7, 2019.

This film won’t be Heechul’s first time in voice acting as he had acted as Simon in the korean version of “Alvin and the Chipmunks” together with Super Junior co-members Kangin (Alvin) and Shindong (Theodore).

Bonus: He also recently lent his voice for his childhood friend’s short youtube production. The song and story was actually good. You can watch it below:
