Kdrama Alert: Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun confirmed to star in the fantasy kdrama “The King: The Eternal Monarch”
Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun confirmed to star in the upcoming korean drama written by the Kim Eun Sook titled “The King: The Eternal Monarch”.
Following the news that Lee Min Ho will reunite with the “The Heirs” writer, another reunion is set to happen after the “Goblin” star, Kim Go Eun, confirmed her role to play opposite Lee Min Ho.
“The King: The Eternal Monarch” is based in alternative reality. It is a fantasy romance between two people living two parallel worlds.

Lee Gon played by Lee Min Ho lives in the Korean empire. Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun will portray Jung Ta Eul, who is a detective living in modern Korea. Their paths crossed whey they teamed up together to fight against the evil.

The series is scheduled to begin shooting in the second half of the year, and is said to air in the first quarter of 2020.
