Is Kdrama onscreen pairings sweeter the second time around?
We know that in K-Drama Land, we seldom see love teams or pairings to work together again unlike in the Philippines where love teams usually work in several projects especially if they have a large fanbase. So to see K-Drama pairs again in a another project is really delightful for the fans.
Here’s a list of K-Drama pairs who have worked together more than once.
1. Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra

Jang love team first starred in the drama, ‘The Successful Story of a Bright Girl’ where they showed great on-screen chemistry. ‘Bright Girl’ was the first K-Drama aired in the Philippines in 2003.
They reunited for the K-Drama adaptation of ‘Fated To Love You’ and casted together for the third time in a special one-episode drama, ‘Old Goodbye’.

2. Jang Na Ra and Choi Jin Hyuk

Jang Na Ra reunited with her ‘Fated To Love You’ co-star and second lead, Choi Jin Hyuk, in the 2018 series, ‘The Last Empress’.

3. Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum

Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum worked together for their 2013 drama, ‘Secret Love’, and reunited for their second drama project, ‘Kill Me Heal Me’ in 2015.
Hwang Jung Eum mentioned in an interview in 2015 that she wants to do another project with Ji Sung after she gets married. Since she got married in 2016, can we expect to see them again for the third time?
4. Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon

Park Seo Joon who played the second lead in the drama, ‘Kill Me Heal Me’ reunited with Hwang Jung Eum not as a second lead anymore but as his love interest in the drama, ‘She Was Pretty’ on the same year. Our second lead syndrome was given a justice!
5. Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun

Most of us may have probably known Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun’s pairing in the 2013 hit series, ‘My Love From The Star’. But prior to that, the two have previously worked together in the 2012 film, ‘The Thieves’.
6. Jun Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun

Jun Ji Hyun were co-stars in the 2001 blockbuster film ‘My Sassy Girl’. They reunited 15 years later when Cha Tae Hyun had a cameo role in Jun Ji Hyun’s drama, ‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’.
7. Eric Mun and Jung Yu Mi

Eric Mun and Jung Yoo Mi first worked together in 2007 for ‘Que Sera Sera’ and they reunited in 2014 for the drama, “Discovery of Love’.
8. Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye

Another second lead syndrome was given a justice when CNBLue’s Jung Yong Hwa became the lead in the 2011 drama ‘Heartstrings’ alongside Park Shin Hye after their hit 2009 series ‘You’re Beautiful’.
9. Lee Seung Gi and Suzy

This 2019, we are looking forward to the reunion of Lee Seung Gi and Suzy for the drama ‘Vagabond’, six years after ‘Gu Family Book’. This pairing seem to be fond of action series.
10. Lee Dong wook and Lee Da Hae

The undeniable chemistry of Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae in 2005 drama ‘My Girl’ was proven once again on their reunion drama ‘Hotel King’ in 2014 where they portrayed more mature roles.
11. Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na

One of the most anticipated reunion in 2019 is Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na’s ‘Touch Your Heart’. Also known as the Pichi couple, they previously worked together in the hit 2016 series ‘Goblin’. Even their video teaser is Goblin-inspired.
12. Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin is one of the most favorite K-Drama pair to ever born. Before their most famed drama ‘Crash Landing On You‘ happened, they first worked in the 2018 film, ‘The Negotiation.’ To make their pair bring more feels, they turned reel-to-real as the couple announced their engagement!

I think Bright Girl was from 2003, and yes, it was the first kdrama ever shown in PH. I bet not everyone knows that.
