Park Shin Hye is coming back for “The Judge from Hell” Season 2!
The court is not yet adjourned, as Kang Bit Na is coming back to resume the trial!

On June 1, during the “SBS Drama Media Day: NEXT EPISODE” held at Hotel Naru Seoul M Gallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul, SBS Programming Director Kim Ki Seon and Studio S CEO Hong Sung Chang revealed that The Judge from Hell will be having its second season, and Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, will reprise her role as Kang Bit Na.
The Judge from Hell follows the story of a demon named Kang Bit Na who has been given the mission to bring people back to hell. Things run smoothly for her until she meets Detective Han Da On and starts to develop feelings for him. It achieved a peak viewership rating of 13.6%.
According to CEO Hong Sung Chang, the reason SBS can continue producing seasonal dramas is that the trust between the production team and the actors is very good. “In production environments, actors, directors, staff, and even writers have often come together in a tightly bonded relationship of trust. Without their chemistry, we can’t do a seasonal drama,” he added.
Moreover, The Judge from Hell Season 1 received various awards in the 2024 SBS Drama Awards. Park Shin Hye won the Director’s Award while her partner in the series, Kim Jae Young, bagged the Top Excellence Award. Because of their great chemistry, they got the Best Couple Award as well. Other cast members also received awards at the said award ceremony.
