AO EXCLUSIVE: Kim Soo Hyun shares heartfelt message for his Filipino fans
After 2 years, Kim Soo Hyun reunites with his PH fans!
Kim Soo Hyun is one of the most multifaceted artists in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in 2007 with the sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile, and since then, he has continued to prove he can take on a wide variety of roles. He has impressive acting skills and consistently brings depth to every character he portrays. He is best known for his roles in Dream High, Moon Embracing the Sun, My Love from the Star, The Producers, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, One Ordinary Day, and Queen of Tears.
Ahead of his special reunion with his Filipino fans at his “Our Forever with You” fan meeting with BENCH, an exclusive press conference was held on October 1st at the Peninsula Manila, and Kim Soo Hyun wholeheartedly answered all the questions from the press, including us, The Annyeong Oppa. He greeted everyone, “Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Kim Soo Hyun.” He continued, “Due to the BENCH event, I was able to visit here in the Philippines again, and I hope we all have an enjoyable and memorable day together. Thank you.“
About reuniting with his Filipino fans
When asked about the first thought that came to his mind when he arrived in Manila, he answered, “The moment that I got out of the airport, I was able to see fans cheering for me and greeting me. I was able to see fans waving their hands and stamping their feet for me. All those moments and expressions that the fans have shown to me were very memorable in my mind.” Kim Soo Hyun also mentioned that the eyes of the Filipino fans are very sparkling. “They have the eyes of an angel, and I think that expression stays the same during this visit as well,” he said. Aside from the Filipino’s sparkling eyes, Kim Soo Hyun also praised them for their warmth, describing their energy as truly passionate.
On the other hand, Kim Soo Hyun said that “I missed you” is something he always wanted to hear from his Filipino fans.
His message for his Filipino fans
I was able to ask him a question personally about the message he would like to share with his fans, and he responded heartwarmingly, “First of all, I want to say thank you for the love and support you’ve given me so consistently for such a long time.” He expressed his gratitude to his fans who always show their love and support.
To wrap the event up, Kim Soo Hyun shared a special greeting in Tagalog and said, “Mahal ko kayo, maraming salamat po, kita-kits bukas.”
Moreover, as one of the Global BENCH Setters, Kim Soo Hyun also shared his preferred everyday fashion style and said that he prefers a simple and neat style and is comfortable wearing it, just like what he was wearing that day during the press conference.
