IU and Byeon Woo Seok’s new drama kicks off with a strong rating!
According to Nielsen Korea on April 11, Perfect Crown, which premiered on April 10, started with an impressive viewership rating of 7.8% and became the third highest premiere in MBC’s Friday-Saturday dramas with Chief Detective 1958, premiering with 10.1% nationwide ratings, followed by Knight Flower, which garnered 7.9% for its pilot episode.
Perfect Crown is set in a reimagined modern-day Korea that operates under a constitutional monarchy. A touching romantic comedy series that depicts the romance between a chaebol heiress named Sung Hee Joo and a prince named Lee Ahn.
IU portrays the role of Sung Hee Joo, the beautiful and intelligent second daughter of a conglomerate family, and Byeon Woo Seok plays the role of Prince Lee Ahn, who doesn’t have anything despite being the son of the king.
Catch Perfect Crown on Disney+ every Friday and Saturday at 10:20 PM through the show’s series finale on May 16.
