SEVENTEEN Confirms Second Full-Group Contract Renewal at ‘NEW_’ Encore Finale

SEVENTEEN has officially announced their second contract renewal as a complete group, marking another meaningful milestone in their 11-year journey together.

The announcement was made during the final night of their SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR ‘NEW_’ ENCORE, held on April 4 and 5 at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The concert served as the grand finale of their world tour, which first kicked off at the same venue in September last year.

On April 5, the last day of the encore shows, the group surprised fans with the heartfelt news that all 13 members had renewed their contracts once again. This follows their first early renewal with Pledis Entertainment in 2021, further solidifying their unity and long-standing bond.

Leader S.Coups personally shared the announcement during the concert, reflecting on the group’s journey and the significance of the decision. “Thinking about the fact that there won’t be any group concerts for a while makes me suddenly look back on the past 11 years,” he said. “After having a deep conversation among the members, all 13 of us decided to renew our contracts together. We will row hard and move forward as one boat.”

And honestly, as a fan, this just hits differently. Seeing all thirteen of them choose to stay together again feels like a promise, that no matter how much time passes, SEVENTEEN will keep moving forward side by side.
