Kim Young Dae announces military enlistment this April!

Kim Young Dae is set to commence his mandatory military service next month.

On March 25, Kim Young Dae’s agency, OUTERUNIVERSE, shared that the actor is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier sometime next month. With his enlistment scheduled for April, Kim Young Dae is set to be discharged in October 2027.

During his wrap-up interview for the TVING drama Dear X, Young Dae mentioned that after returning from the military, he wants to audition and live passionately just like when he was a rookie. He will take this as an opportunity for a fresh beginning. Even while he is completing his military duties, he plans to prepare and brace himself for what he will do upon his return. He thinks it will be a new and fun time.

Kim Young Dae debuted as an actor in 2017 through the web drama, Secret Crushes: Special Edition. He is known for his impeccable acting skills and is remarkable for his roles in the dramas Extraordinary You, Shooting Stars, The Forbidden Marriage, Moon in the Day, Perfect Family, Because I Want No Loss, To The Moon, Dear X, and made a special appearance in Boyfriend on Demand.
