Kim Sejeong successfully held her 10th Anniversary fan concert, “Tenth Letter” in Manila!
After 2 years, Kim Sejeong and PH SESANGs reunite again!
Following her first-ever fan concert in Manila in 2023, Sejeong reunited with her Filipino SESANGs at her “Tenth Letter” fan concert on February 21, 2025, at the New Frontier Theater. The same venue where she held her first-ever fan concert, “The Door” in Manila, was filled once again with beautiful memories shared by Sejeong and her Filipino SESANGs as she celebrates her 10th year in the industry.
PH SESANG welcomed Kim Sejeong with their loudest cheers as she entered the stage, kicking off the show with the song, Something New by Nikki Yanofsky, followed by Wonder Girls’ Irony. “Kamusta ka? Ako si Kim Sejeong! Namiss ko kayo sobra,” she greeted everyone.
When Sejeong was in Korea, she requested SESANGs to wear something meaningful to her as a dress code at her concert, PH SESANGs accepted that challenge and many came wearing costumes as her roles in her dramas such as, Ra Eun Ho in School 2017, Do Ha Na in The Uncanny Counter, and as Park Dal I in her recent drama, Moon River. Some fans wore SeMiNa costumes, and there’s a fan wearing a dress like Kim Sejeong wore in Produce 101 days. They all got the opportunity to come to the stage and be interviewed by their beloved star.
In the segment called “Pieces of Memory,” Sejeong reminisce her memorable experience in Manila during her The Door fan concert. She wasn’t able to hear her in-ear monitor that time because of the passionate and loud cheers of her Filipino fans, so she talked to her team to make sure that this time her in-ear monitor matched the energy of the crowd.
We got the chance to hear more of Kim Sejeong’s soothing voice at the “Five Hearts” segment, singing her OST singles- Meet Again (The Uncanny Counter OST), All of My Days (Crash Landing on You), and Love Maybe (Business Proposal OST). She also sang her songs, Warning and Baby I Love U, IU‘s My Sea, Lee Hi’s Breath, and Taeyeon‘s U R. In this segment, 3 lucky fans also got to interact with her and respond to their questions.
It felt so nostalgic when Kim Sejeong performed some of the Gugudan’s songs, The Boots and A Girl Like Me. She once again showcased her powerful and soulful performances. Her setlist includes Voyage, Send a Letter, Solar System, Flower Way, In The Rain, SKYLINE, Whale, and Let’s Go Home. She never fails to deliver spectacular performances whenever she performs.
“It’s been so long since I’ve visited Manila, but being able to come tonight and listen to your cheers, I really had a wonderful night. Maraming salamat po,” Kim Sejeong said. “Whenever I do performances, I do my best to give my energy to the fans, but today I’ve received so much energy from you guys. I’ll treasure this wonderful memory we had today, and the next time I come back, please give me your reactions threefold than today. Okay?” she added.
PH SESANGs expressed their love to Kim Sejeong and prepared a video message for her, which moved her to tears. They also prepared cake and flowers for her, as well as hand banners.
Moreover, the day before Kim Sejeong’s fan concert, she roamed around Farmer’s Market in Cubao. She shared during her fan concert, “I arrived in the Philippines yesterday and had a good time. I had gelato, swam, and ate delicious foods, and I also tried mango and mangosteen. I think that helped me to have energy today.” We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay here in Manila, Sejeongie!
Towards the end of the show, Sejeong once again delivered her heartfelt final message and said, “Thank you very much. Today was such a happy moment for me. I won’t forget this for the rest of my life, and I’ll make sure to come back. Mahal ko kayo, I love you, Sarangahaeyo!” She is the sweetest. We are also happy to meet you again, our dearest Sejeongie. Congratulations on your 10th anniversary in the industry. We are so proud of you, and we will support you for the next 10 years of your career. We love you!
