Must-watch dramas of the amazing actress, Park Shin Hye
Park Shin Hye has been in the industry since 2001 and has 23 years of acting experience as of writing.
With her long years of experience, Park Shin Hye starred in hit and trending dramas over the years. She played roles that viewers can relate to and fall in love with.
In celebration of her birthday, let’s take a look at the must-watch dramas starring our one and only, Park Shin Hye!
You’re Beautiful (2009)
Park Shin Hye played the roles of the twins Go Mi Nam, a member of boy band A.N.JELL, and Go Mi Nyeo, who is set to become a nun.
Due to a serious accident, Go Mi Nam won’t be able to join the group’s activities. So, the group’s manager approached Go Mi Nyeo and convinced her to pretend to be her twin and be Go Mi Nam.
Park Shin Hye did an amazing job portraying a male character. Not only did she act, but she also lent her beautiful voice to the drama’s OST.

This drama is about the students of a performing arts college. A beautiful youth romance drama that will make you fall in love with each character.

The Heirs (2013)
One of the memorable dramas Park Shin Hye starred in, The Heirs, follows the story of young and rich heirs studying at the prestigious Jeguk High School.
Park Shin Hye played the role of Cha Eun Sang, a poor student living with her mute mother. Luckily, due to her mother’s job, she was granted a scholarship at Jeguk and started living at Kim Tan’s (played by Lee Min Ho) house.
Considering her background, Cha Eun Sang experienced a difficult life at Jeguk High School, often bullied and picked at by students.
This is personally one of my favorite dramas of Park Shin Hye, as she was able to perfectly portray the determined and strong-willed Cha Eun Sang.

Sisyphus: The Myth is a time-travel drama that follows the story of Han Tae Sul (played by Cho Seung Woo), a genius engineer, and Kang Seo Hae, a girl from the future who saved Han Tae Sul’s life.
Stuck in a time loop, the two must break the cycle to prevent a nuclear war from happening.
This drama might look confusing at first, but as the story goes on, you’ll be invested in it and will try to find clues with the protagonists of the drama.

Doctor Slump (2024)
Another favorite of mine, Doctor Slump, follows the story of high school rivals Yeo Jeong Woo (played by Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (played by Park Shin Hye) who met years later as doctors.
In the present, Yeo Jeong Woo is now a plastic surgeon, and Nam Ha Neul works as an anesthesiologist. Due to their personal struggles and failures, the two met again and eventually developed romantic feelings for each other. They found comfort from one another and took their steps to mental healing by each other’s side.
Doctor Slump is also special since it’s a reunion project of Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik, 11 years after The Heirs.

The Judge from Hell (2024)
This is one of Park Shin Hye’s best dramas ever!
The Judge from Hell follows the story of the demon Kang Bit Na, who was punished to live as a judge in the human world. Her mission as a demon on Earth is to kill people who led people to their deaths. Once they are killed, they are sent to Hell.
Due to the mysterious killings, Kang Bit Na crossed paths with detective Han Da On (played by Kim Jae Young), who was investigating these incidents and working on finding the killer.
In my opinion, Kang Bit Na is one of the most badass roles that Park Shin Hye played! She played this role so well that you’ll get carried away with her acting.

Undercover Miss Hong (2026)
Park Shin Hye’s latest drama, Undercover Miss Hong, follows the story of Hong Keum Bo (played by Park Shin Hye), an elite financial securities inspector who is working on revealing a slush fund scam.
