Doh Kyung Soo and Ji Chang Wook’s “The Manipulated” is coming to Disney+ on November 5!
One of the most anticipated thrilling Korean action dramas, The Manipulated, is coming to Disney+ this November!
The Manipulated tells the story of a man named Tae Joong who is suddenly sent to prison for the rape and murder of a woman he claims to have never met. When he discovers that someone out there is framing innocent people like him, Tae Joong swears to find the people responsible and make them pay.
Starring Ji Chang Wook as Park Tae Joong, a model citizen who works diligently to make his dream come true. Surrounded by a loving group of friends and family, everything is moving in the right direction for Tae Joong until his kind-hearted nature betrays him.
Ji Chang Wook previously starred in Disney+’s original series, The Worst of Evil and Gangnam B-Side. He is also remarkable for his roles in the dramas Empress Ki, Healer, The K2, Suspicious Partner, Melting Me Softly, Backstreet Rookie, and Welcome to Samdal-ri.
On the other hand, Doh Kyung Soo takes up his first villain role as An Yo Han. Kyung Soo is not only popular for being one of the talented members of EXO, but also a versatile actor who debuted in 2014 and is notable for his roles in the dramas It’s Okay That’s Love, Hello Monster, 100 Days My Prince, and Bad Prosecutor. He recently starred in the film Secret: Untold Melody.
The Manipulated is penned by prolific Korean screenwriter Oh Sang Ho, who previously worked on the drama Taxi Driver and the film Fabricated City. It is helmed by The Killing Vote director, Park Sin Woo, and Kim Chang Joo, who worked on the film Hard Hit.
Catch the first four episodes of The Manipulated from November 5 exclusively on Disney+, followed by two episodes a week until an electrifying finale on December 3.
