Get to Know GMMTV’s JossGawin and SkyNani

GMMTV Fan Day is set to come back in Manila for the third year in a row! For its 23rd installment, Filipino fans have the chance to meet JossGawin and SkyNani up close and personal!
The two back-to-back fan meetings and fan events will happen on August 24, 2025 (Sunday) at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier. But before the event proper, let’s get to know the main attractions better:
JossGawin
JossGawin is one of GMMTV’s newer BL pairings, having been officially announced in GMMTV 2024, a yearly event where the company announces new projects fans can look forward to in the coming year. My Golden Blood is their first project together as a BL pairing.
My Golden Blood tells the story of Mark (Joss), a vampire, and Tong (Gawin), who possesses a rare and powerful type of blood that is irresistible to vampires. Mark does everything to protect Tong from other vampires and himself. Watch the show here.
As individual actors, both Joss and Gawin have an impressive list under their belt. Joss is a sought-after leading man who has starred in shows like 3 Will Be Free, Nabi, My Stepdarling, The Player, and Loneliness Society, all under GMMTV.
Gawin has also starred in several shows under GMMTV, including Dark Blue Kiss, Girl Next Room: Motorbike Baby, Enchanté, Be My Favorite, and the recently-concluded Hide & Sis.
Next up for the pair is the upcoming show Only Friends: Dream On, a mature and star-studded show that features three of GMMTV’s most popular BL ships, JossGawin, EarthMix, and AouBoom. You can watch the GMMTV 2025 trailer here.
SkyNani
SkyNani, despite not being an “official” GMMTV BL couple, has taken the entire country by storm. Their first show together was High School Frenemy, a Thai adaptation of the Korean drama School 2013 starring real-life friends Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin. You can watch High School Frenemy here.
Fans wanted them to be an “official” on-screen couple to the point that the entire country was chanting Imina SkyNani as sort of a way to manifest them as an official pairing. They also saw a significant rise in demand for the two to appear in events and endorsements alongside other official GMMTV pairings.
As a solo actor, Sky has starred in several productions even before signing with GMMTV, including Hormones Season 3, I Hate You, I Love You, Project S: Side by Side, My Ambulance, and OMG! Oh My Girl.
Nani is best known for his roles in the GMMTV shows F4 Thailand: Boys over Flowers (an adaptation of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango), Home School, and Wednesday Club.
Both Sky and Nani are set to star in the upcoming anthology series MuTeLuv, starring in two different segments of the show. They are set to reunite on the upcoming GMMTV show Wu, which tells the story of the fateful meeting of two people who will change the fates of countless more. It is, however, unclear whether it will be officially BL and mark their first project as an official pairing or simply bromance. Imina SkyNani…Manong GMMTV, baka naman…
