Genie, Make a Wish follows the story of Jinn (Kim Woo Bin), a genie in a lamp who awakens and comes back to the human world after a thousand years of his career being put on hold, and Ka Young (Suzy), Jinni’s new impassive master, who goes through the motions of life living her grandomther’s rules and routines.

This new series shows the perfect blend of romantic comedy and their conflict over three wishes. This sets the stage for a magical twist of destiny, desire, and of course – love.

Kim Woo Bin recently starred in the Netflix originals Officer Black Belt and Black Knight, and will portray the role of a Genie. Contrary to the Genie that we are familiar with, he is a Satan who tempts and corrupts people with three wishes. He is not just any Satan; he is an eccentric Genie who came back to the human world after a thousand years and is clueless about the world.
