“The Nice Guy” starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyoung is coming to Disney+ this July!
We have a new Lee-Lee couple to look forward to on Disney+ this July!

The Nice Guy tells the story of Seok Cheol who is born into the third generation of a family of gangsters. He will find himself torn between his love for his family and the desire for something more when he reunites with his first love, Mi Young. Supporting each other on the road to achieving their dreams, will they be able to overcome the struggles that will come their way?

Starring Lee Dong Wook as Park Seok Cheol, the eldest grandson of a crime family. He grew up knowing nothing but the thrill of violence and family loyalty. Seen by others as nothing more than a thug, Seok Cheol secretly harbors a dream of sailing off into the sunset to become an author like Ernest Hemingway.
Lee Dong Wook recently starred in a rom-com series, The Divorce Insurance and also known for his role as Uncle Jin Man in a Disney+’s series, A Shop for Killers, he is confirmed to reprise his role in the second season of the drama alongside Kim Hye Jun and other cast members from Season 1.

Opposite Lee Dong Wook, Lee Sung Kyoung will play the role of Kang Mi Young, an aspiring singer with a difficult home life. Sung Kyoung previously starred in the Disney+ series Call It Love.
She is known for her versatility in acting and has shown a wide spectrum of her acting in different dramas such as Cheese in the Trap, Doctors, Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, About Time, Doctor Romantic 2 & 3, and Shooting Stars.
The Nice Guy is penned by Kim Woon Kyung, who previously worked in dramas, Yuna’s Street, The Duo, and Kim Hyo Seok, who recently worked in the film Yadang: The Snitch, and is helmed by Boomerang Family and A Better Tomorrow director Song Hae Sung.
