Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin in talks to reunite in upcoming MBC drama
Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin might reunite in a drama after 8 years!
On July 3, Yoo Yeon Seok’s agency, KINGKONG by STARSHIP, and Seo Hyun Jin’s agency, Management SOOP, revealed that they both received a casting offer to star in the upcoming MBC drama, Liar.
Liar depicts the story of a man and a woman who had their perfect first date but take a sudden shift the next day as they each make contradictory claims about what occurred.
If Seo Hyun Jin, who starred in The Trunk last year, accepts the offer, she will play the role of Kang Ji Seon, an essay teacher at an arts middle school.
Hyun Jin is known for her impeccable acting skills and has starred in dramas such as Another Miss Oh, Temperature of Love, The Beauty Inside, and Why Her.
Yoo Yeon Seok received a casting offer to portray the role of a cardiothoracic surgeon named, Min Jun Ho. After losing his wife, he is now the only one taking care of his middle school student son who turns out to be Kang Ji Seon’s student. As his path crossed hers, he started to feel the spark that he hadn’t felt for a long time.
This might be Yeon Seok’s next MBC series following his hit romantic mystery drama, When The Phone Rings.
Moreover, Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin starred in the popular medical drama, Doctor Romantic, and showcased great chemistry as a couple in the series. They played the roles of Kang Dong Ju and Yoo Seo Jung, respectively.
