GAT Drops Teaser for Official Music Video of Hit Song ‘Daleng Dale’
The wait is almost over! Rising P-Pop boy group, GAT has just released the teaser for the official music video of their hit song, Daleng Dale.
Originally sung by MMJ, the song has been taking the internet by storm thanks to its status as the official theme song of the hit novel-turned-web series, Ang Mutya ng Section E, and its dance challenge taking over TikTok.
With only short clips of the music video, viewers can see that the steps of the dance craze will be featured, making fans go haypa and feel the intense energy that the full MV promises to deliver. As the song gains recognition worldwide, both Filipino and international fans are excited for the music video’s release.
Who are the members of GAT?
GAT consists of five members: Ethan, Charles, Michael, Hans, and Derick, where the group was formally introduced last March 5, 2025. All members, except for Hans, are part of the cast of Ang Mutya ng Section E, portraying Calix, Ci-N, Eren, and Blaster, respectively.
Their group name is derived from the word ‘Gatdula’ or ‘Gat’ which means ‘Sir’ in Filipino but is also an acronym for ‘Gawang Atin ‘To.’ The group is managed by Ivory Music and Viva Artists Agency.
They released their pre-debut performance, Huwa Ka Nang Humirit, originally sung by James Reid, on January 10, 2025. In addition, GAT also showcased their performance video of Marikit, which was originally sung by Juan Caoile and Kyleswish.
About ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’
The story centers on Jasper Jean “Jay-jay” Mariano (played by Ashtine Olviga), a new student at Higher Value International School who wants to start fresh. Her plans suddenly change when she is placed in Section E—a class dominated by troublemaking boys. At first, her classmates try to push her out, but over time, they grow fond of each other. As Jay-hay finds herself becoming closer to her new classmates, she becomes caught in a love triangle between the class president, Kiefer Watson (Andres Muhlach), and his best friend, Yuri Hanamitchi (Rabin Angeles).
