Taeyeon brings Filipino SONEs along on her moving journey during “The Tense” concert in Manila
Girls’ Generation’s leader, Kim Taeyeon, has finally come back to the Philippines, with Manila being her third stop for her “The Tense” tour, held at the Mall of Asia Arena last March 29, 2025.
Taeyeon previously went to the country for her “The Odd of Love” tour in July 2023. She shared that she remembers the Philippines as “one of the places with the best cheers.”

Regarded as Filipino SONEs’ “beshie,” Taeyeon once again made precious memories for her fans as she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her solo artist debut through her “The Tense” concert.
Taeyeon made her grand entrance with “Fabulous,” appearing on a raised platform. All eyes were on her as she radiated with her strong aura, looking beautiful in her striking gown.
Followed by performances of her powerful debut track “I” and songs from her most recent mini-album “Letter To Myself,” Taeyeon made the audience have goosebumps as she showcased her impressive vocal skills. She also made sure to entice the fans with dance numbers to certain tracks like “INVU” and “Hot Mess.”
“Cold As Hell” took the audience by surprise with the spectacular moment when a cloth dropped from above, creating impactful silhouettes of Taeyeon and the dancers.

Another special time shared by Taeyeon and SONEs was during the performances of “Weekend,” “Stress,” and “Baram x3” when everyone stood up from their seats for a bit to jump and sing along while waving their light sticks and pink cloths.
Accompanied by a live band and a dance team, Taeyeon gave amazing stages that surely made the concert unforgettable for SONEs. The emotions and passion that shone through in each performance made her even more admirable.
The overall production was also remarkable as the generous amount of confetti and flashy lights helped highlight the various performances during the concert.

SONEs repaid Taeyeon’s efforts through their constant, enthusiastic cheers that night and the various fan projects they prepared. An egg-shaped hand banner with the statement “10 years with Taeyeon feels like perfect HEAVEN” was given to the attendees, while Taeyeon received a personalized banner saying “Singing for SONE is my perfect HEAVEN.”
Some fans also dressed up in cute costumes, which Taeyeon noticed and gave her appreciation to. She said it made the concert’s vibe so much better.

One touching moment was after Taeyeon sang “Ending Credits,” and actual credits rolled on the screen. As multiple repetitions of her name appeared on the screen, it served as a “thank you” for the past, present, and future Taeyeon who worked hard and made her every achievement possible.
Before closing the concert with “U R,” Taeyeon didn’t forget to express her gratitude to the fans and wished that they would remember that night for a long time as it was a happy memory for her.
