“Parasite” scores 5 awards + Winners of the 56th Grand Bell Awards
Bong Joon Ho’s movie “Parasite” scored five awards including the grand prize, “Best Film” at the 56th Grand Bell Awards.
Aside from Best Film, Parasite also won Best Director and Best Screenplay for Director, Bong Joon Ho, Best Supporting Actress for Lee Jeung Eun, and Best Music award for Jung Jae Il.
The best actor award was given to Lee Byung Hun of “Ashfall” and the best actress award to Jeong Yu Mi of “Kim Ji Young: Born 1982.”
The 56th Daejong Film Festival was held at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul Hotel Theater Hall on June 3 hosted by broadcasters Lee Hwi Jae and Han Hye Jin.

Best Screenplay: Han Jin Won, Bong Joon Ho (Parasite)
Best Cinematography: Kim Young Ho (The Battle: Roar to Victory)
Best Lighting: Jeon Young Suk (Svaha: The Sixth Finger)
Technical Award: Jin Jong Hyun (Visual effects, Ashfall)
Best Editing: Lee Kang Hee (Exit)
