Medical thriller drama, “Hyper Knife” is coming exclusively on Disney+ in 2025!
An unmissable medical thriller is coming to Disney+ in 2025.
Hyper Knife depicts the story of the intense conflict between Se Ok, a genius surgeon, and her mentor and supervising doctor, Deok Hee. Albeit Se Ok’s unparalleled skill with a scalpel, she finds herself tossed aside and stripped of her medical license which was caused by her mentor Deok Hee.
Park Eun Bin brings to life the role, of Jeong Se Ok who is an incredible star in the surgical field not until she had a clash with her mentor and hit rock bottom. Unwilling to let go of what made her great, Se Ok continues to carry out back-alley operations until she reunites with her former mentor who ruined her medical career.
Park Eun Bin made her acting debut in 1988 and is remarkable for her roles in the dramas, Hello! My Twenties, Judge vs Judge, Hot Stove League, The King’s Affection, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and Castaway Diva. She is also in talks to star in the upcoming drama.
The role of Choi Deok Hee will be portrayed by actor, Sul Kyung Gu. He is a globally acclaimed neurosurgeon who expelled his former mentee. Sul Kyung Gu is popular for his roles in the films, Kingmaker, Kill Boksoon, and The Moon.
Moreover, actors Yoon Chan Young and Park Byung Eun will star as Seo Young Joo and Han Hyun Ho in the series, respectively. Young Joo acts as Se Ok’s guardian and Hyun Ho is an anesthesiologist who admires Se Ok’s exceptional skills.
Hyper Knife is written by Kim Sun Hee who previously worked on Quiz from God: Reboot and will be helmed by Kim Jung Hyun, the man behind the dramas, Crazy Love and My Fellow Citizens!
