STAYC unveils 1st full-length album “Metamorphic”
STAYC is back with their 1st full-length album since debut, “Metamorphic”! This marks their first comeback in about 11 months after they released their 3rd EP “TEENFRESH” last August 2023.
The title track “Cheeky Icy Thang” is an upbeat and quirky song about having self-confidence and being a cool person. It features an electro beat that makes the song fun to dance along to!
The “Metamorphic” album showcases STAYC’s evolution as a group in terms of their concept, visuals, and skills, thus the name that means ‘change’. Overall, the album consists of 14 songs, including “Twenty,” “1 Thing,” “Give It 2 Me,” “Let Me Know,” “Nada,” “Beauty Bomb,” “Gummy Bear,” “Flexing On My Ex,” and “Trouble Maker”.
In addition, there are unit songs by Sieun, Seeun, and J entitled “Find,” by Sumin and Yoon entitled “Fakin’” and a solo song from Isa entitled “Roses”. Lastly, there is a fan song “Stay WITH ME” which all members participated in writing the lyrics of.
