Lee Jong Won and Kim Se Jeong confirm to star in new rom-com series!
Kim Se Jeong and Lee Jong Won will collaborate in the upcoming rom-com series!
On April 29, ENA confirmed the casting of Kim Se Jeong and Lee Jong Won in their upcoming rom-com series, Drunk Romance.
It was on April 5 when THEBLACKLABEL, Lee Jong Won’s agency revealed that the actor received a casting offer to play the male lead in the series and that Kim Se Jeong was reportedly in talks to play the female lead.
Drunk Romance depicts the comical and romantic love story between a female sales representative in a liquor company and a male local brewer.
Many fans were so thrilled about this as Kim Se Jeong showed a great portrayal of Shin Ha Ri in a rom-com webtoon-based series, A Business Proposal opposite Ahn Hyo Seop.
She is also known for her roles in the dramas, School 2017, I Wanna Hear Your Song, The Uncanny Counter, and Today’s Webtoon.
As a singer, Kim Se Jeong embarked on her first solo concert last year and visited 10 countries including Manila which she visited in October 2023.
Lee Jong Won recently starred as Park Soo Ho in the historical rom-com series, Knight Flower. He is also remarkable for his roles in the dramas, My Unfamiliar Family, The Spies Who Loved Me, Hospital Playlist 2, and The Golden Spoon.
