Known to everyone as the iconic ‘Good Boy,’ Kim Seon Ho is a Korean actor from Salt Entertainment who debuted in 2017 with the KBS drama “Good Manager.” Throughout his career, he has managed to capture people’s hearts with his versatile acting skills and charismatic smile.

Kim Seon Ho is best known for his roles in “Start Up” and “Hometown Cha Cha Cha.” Last year, he also made his big screen debut with the action thriller film, “The Childe.”

Aside from the fans’ love, Seon Ho has gained formal recognition for his excellence in acting.  

From 2020 to 2023, Seon Ho consistently bagged various awards in the Asia Artist Awards, including “Best Artist Award” and “Asia Celebrity Award.” For his first movie, he won the “Best New Actor Award” in both the Grand Bell Awards Film Festival and the Buil Film Awards. He also received the “Popular Star Award” during the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

With this, Kim Seon Ho’s future projects are much anticipated by many.

Music video appearances

Outside of dramas, Kim Seon Ho also had the chance to act in music videos of certain artists. He appeared in the MV of “Sleepless,” a collaboration between Epitone Project and Younha, released in 2020.

Having worked with Epitone Project before, Kim Seon Ho was able to release a song in 2021 that shows his good vocal quality. It is a meaningful track entitled, “The Reason is You.”

Theater Actor

Before being a K-drama actor, Seon Ho first appeared in theater plays. Until now, he hasn’t forgotten his roots and continues to get theatrical roles. He has starred in various plays such as “Touching the Void,” “Ice,” and “Realise Happiness.”

Variety king

Contrary to his serious roles, Seon Ho’s cheerful and mischievous personality is evident in variety shows.

From 2019 to 2021, Kim Seon Ho was a fixed cast member of the KBS program “2 Days 1 Night.” His interactions with the other members and reactions throughout the show are really fun to watch.

Adorable dancer

In 2018, Seonhohadas were able to catch a glimpse of Seon Ho’s cute dancing skills when the cast of “100 Days My Prince” danced to EXO’s Growl as a fulfillment of their promise for the show’s high ratings.

In 2020, Seon Ho also performed Taemin’s Move along with the 2D1N members during the KBS Entertainment Awards.

Last year, Seon Ho did a solo dance of the “Dentist Song” for his fan meetings in Asia.

Model

Kim Seon Ho’s charming facial features and good body proportions have led him to be the model for magazine photoshoots. Seon Ho’s visuals are really a treat to the eyes of audiences!

Cameos in dramas

Because of Seon Ho’s good relationship with the staff of his past dramas, he has been asked to make some guest appearances in the directors’ next works.

Some of Seon Ho’s iconic cameos are when he appeared in “Find Me In Your Memory” with Moon Ga Young, and the last episode of “Run On” with Shin Se Kyung. He also did cameos for “Feel Good to Die” and “Your House Helper.”

Good-hearted person

More than his character in Start-Up, another thing that earned him the nickname ‘Good Boy’ is his good deeds in real life. In 2021 and 2022, he gave money donations to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation. During the Pohang typhoon, he also donated his theater fees from “Touching the Void” to help victims of the calamity. In 2023, he donated a portion of his fan meeting profits to the Korean Red Cross for young people who will be starting self-reliance.

Events in the Philippines

Kim Seon Ho’s first fan meeting was in 2021, which was held online but exclusively for Filipino fans, in partnership with Globe. In January 2023, he was able to meet his fans in person during the Manila stop in his Asia tour. Then, he returned in July for a fan meet under Bench.

A few months ago, Seon Ho also went to the Philippines for the Asia Artist Awards along with other Korean artists.
