Myungsoo was also part of the sub-unit, INFINITE F, along with Lee Sungyeol and Lee Sungjong. They debuted with “Heartthrob” in 2014.

Solo Artist

Along with being an INFINITE member, Myungsoo has also made his official debut as a soloist with the single album “Memory” in February 2021. This became a sentimental song for his fans as it was released right before he enlisted in the Marine Corps.

Visual

Indeed, we can’t talk about good looks without INFINITE’s L (and vice versa). Myungsoo earned the nickname “Shinmolnam,” with the meaning ‘the man who God gave everything to’ for his exceptional visual. Contrary to his bright personality, he has always been perceived as the ‘cold, city guy’ in first impression. Nonetheless, his face card and well-built body make him perfect as a model for magazines.

During their former promotions, Myungsoo played the guitar for INFINITE’s performances of “Can U Smile (Acoustic Ver.)” and “In the Summer.”

In 2014, Myungsoo also had a collab performance with EXO’s Baekhyun and Chanyeol where they did a cover of “Jewelry Box in my Heart” during the MBC Music Awards.

Myungsoo is known for being a huge cat lover. Aside from being a cat owner himself, Myungsoo has been an active supporter of the Nabiya cat shelter. For 5 years, he has continuously sent money donations and some of his personal items for their charity auctions.

Thoughtful towards fans

Inspirit and Ove (INFINITE’s and Myungsoo’s fandom names, respectively) are truly lucky because he shows his affection for them in many ways. This is evident from the fans’ interactions with him, both online and in person.

Before enlisting, Myungsoo planned and filmed various YouTube content enough to last more than one year, with the intent to accompany fans throughout his military service. He even prepared videos in advance to celebrate his birthday and Christmas with his fans.

Earlier this year, Myungsoo released his Japan debut single album, “Moments,” with two title tracks, “Melody” and “Starting Over.”
