AO EXCLUSIVE: Kim Won Shik arrives in the Philippines for “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” shooting!
On February 26, Kim Wonshik arrived in the Philippines to start shooting for “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”.
Kim Won Shik, also known as Sam, is a charming South Korean actor who lived in the Philippines for almost seven years. He has notable appearances in “True Beauty” (2020), and “Alchemy Of Souls” (Season 1, 2022). Currently, he is a part of Universal Records Philippines’ managed artists.
In an exclusive interview with Annyeong Oppa, Won Shik mentioned the songs that calm him down. His top three songs are: “Through the Night” (IU), “Forest” (Choi Yuree), and “Seven” (Jung Kook). He also shared that he is a huge fan of IU!
When asked for his advice for fans who are currently struggling, he had a very specific and charming answer!
“First, you visit Boracay. And you have to take wind sailing when it’s sunset. It’s really really beautiful. And before the night, you have to eat Mang Inasal. When night comes, you will see a lot of stars up in the sky. And of course, you’re going to see me there.”

Wonshik has also mentioned that he has lived in the Philippines before, and would like to visit Cebu for whale shark watching. He also mentioned that he would like to go to any SM mall and check out Kultura.
Won Shik also considers himself a ‘Filipino by heart’. “Teenagers period is really important, I spent [my] teenage years here,” he says.
Kim Won Shik will be joining the cast of the Filipino adaptation of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” with Kim Chiu and Paolo Avelino! He is also planning to release a song soon, so stay tuned!
