YGIG successfully held 1st official WeGo Meeting: HEARTSTRUCK
After preparing for more than four years of training and less than three months since its debut, the newest and hottest PPOP group YGIG successfully held their first-ever fan meeting named 1st official WeGo Meeting: HEARTSTRUCK last February 18 at Globe Auditorium Maybank Theater, BGC.

The group’s name, YGIG, which stands for You Go, I Go, expressed their commitment to paving the way for Filipina female groups to perform on a global stage.

The group began their performance with their hit debut song, ‘SHABA SHABA,’ and then serenaded fans with the song ‘Seasons of Love.’ They also performed covers of Twice’s ‘I Can’t Stop Me’ and Le Sserafim’s ‘No Celestial.’

Tatang Robin prepared a quiz for WeGo where they can win a handful of prizes to make the fan meeting more exciting. The first game is Guess the Member, wherein they need to guess the member in the picture that is zoomed in.
The exciting game was immediately followed by the sub-unit performance. Vien, Jewel, and Hazelyn showcased their vocal skills, while Alexei, Meg, and JM proved their dancing skills. The girls gave numerous performances, which were followed by a brief Q&A during which each displayed her unique talents.

Tatang Robin has planned a surprise for the group in order to make their first fan meetup even more memorable, in which he prepared a video containing the messages of the girls’ families.
And if the group hadn’t planned a surprise for the fans, the fan meeting wouldn’t be nearly as thrilling! A surprise video greeting was also prepared by the group for Tatang Robin.

Then as a special guest just before the fan meeting ended, Darlene made an appearance which made the fan more excited and happy!
Along with her special appearance it was also announced that Darlene will no longer be part of YGIG as she is still recovering from her health conditions. Instead, she will redebut as a solo artist as soon as she recovers.
And last but not the least, it is also revealed that SBTalent Camp’s boy group trainees will debut as PLUUS this coming March 2023.

And a big thank you to SBTown management for making this fan meeting more exciting and memorable for all WeGos! We can’t wait for YGIG’s next comeback!
