If you loved the tearjerker movie “Miracle In Cell No. 7”, then you have to watch “2037”, a female-centered prison movie that deals with the story of a 19-year-old girl being imprisoned for an inevitable accident.
Starring Hong Ye Ji as Yoon Young, the movie highlights the chemistry of the female inmates in Room 10, centering on Yoon Young, who was suddenly imprisoned and called by her prisoner number 2037 instead of her own name.
Hong Ye Ji was joined by other actresses such as Shin Eun Jung, Kim Mi Hwa, Hwang Seok Jung, Jeon So Min, and Yoon Mi Kyung who showed solidarity like how their respective characters depend on each other and build precious relationships in the midst of desperate situations in the movie.

P.S.
The movie will tackle very sensitive issues and may show triggering and disturbing scenes. Make sure you’re prepared before watching it, bes!
South Korea has a knack for producing the saddest and most heart wrenching movies ever. Movies involving legal injustice always hold a special place in my heart. When an institution based on the virtue of justice does not deliver on its promise, the victims end up being punished. The movie is was very moving and grounding in the sense that these things can happen to anyone, quite a scary thought. Phenomenal tear-jerker!
