Lee Sung Kyung in talks to join Kim Young Kwang in upcoming romantic drama

We may be seeing Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang in one drama together!

It was announced by an official from YG Entertainment on April 21 that singer and actress Lee Sung Kyung has received a casting offer to star in the upcoming romantic drama, Tell Me It’s Love and she is currently reviewing it affirmatively.

If she accepts the offer, she will portray the role of the female lead named Shim Woo Joo, a woman who takes revenge on a man named Han Dong Jin due to family affairs that hurt her. However, her feelings grow as she knows deeper about him.

On the same day, Kim Young Kwang’s agency, Wide-S Company confirmed that the actor has accepted the offer to play the male lead role in the drama.

He will play the role of Han Dong Jin, a man who focuses only on working which is his way to endure his loneliness in life. His life changed when he met Shim Woo Joo.

Tell Me It’s Love is a romantic melodrama that depicts a story of a man and a woman who become entangled due to revenge. They eventually come to understand and develop feelings towards each other.

The drama is currently in discussion to be released on an OTT platform and is aiming to be released in the first half of next year.

Meanwhile, Lee Sung Kyung is currently starring as Oh Han Byul in a rom-com series, Shooting Stars which airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:40 PM, KST and is available for streaming on iQiyi.
