Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon in talks to star in new Netflix series

South Korean actors Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon are reported on June 2 to star in a new webtoon-based Netflix series titled Hunting Dogs (literal title).

Lee Do Hyun’s agency, Yuehua Entertainment, shared on the same day that the actor received a casting offer for Hunting Dogs but nothing has been decided yet and it is still under consideration.

Kwak Dong Yeon’s agency, H& Entertainment also released a statement stating, “Kwak Dong Yeon has been cast in Netflix’s new original series but there’s no decision has been made yet.”

Hunting Dogs is an eight-episode series based on a webtoon with the same name that tells the story of three men who are entangled in debt and started to hunt dirty money.

The script is written and directed by Director Kim Joo Hwan who directed some well-known films such as The Divine Fury and Midnight Runners.

Moreover, Hunting Dogs is scheduled to start filming in the second half of the year.
