Song Ji Hyo to star in TVING’s drama, ‘Welcome to Witch’s Restaurant’
Creative Group ING confirmed on February 2 that Song Ji Hyo will appear in TVING’s original drama ‘Welcome to Witch’s Restaurant’ (tentative title).
It is an adaptation of the novel with the same title which was written by Koo Sang Hee, the winner of the 3rd Kyobo Bookstore Story Contest.
Moreover, it will be directed by Director Lee So Hyun under Apollon Studio productions.
Song Ji Hyo will play the role of Jo Hee Ra, a witch who owns a restaurant and she sells food that turns people’s wishes into reality.
‘Welcome to Witch’s Restaurant’ is an 8-episode series and is scheduled to be broadcast on TVING, a streaming site this year.
Meanwhile, Song Ji Hyo has been known for her notable roles in ‘Was it Love?‘, ‘Emergency Couple‘, ‘New World‘, and many more.
Besides her acting career, Song Ji Hyo is one of the regular members of the famous South Korean variety show, Running Man since 2010.
