Pride and Prejudice actor Lee Tae Hwan is reportedly to join the casts line up of the upcoming historical drama New Secret Royal Inspector.
An official from the entertainment industry shared on July 23, “Lee Tae Hwan joins the main casts of KBS2’s new drama New Secret Royal Inspector.” However, there’s no any confirmation yet on Lee Tae Hwan’s side.
The other main casts who are also not yet confirm are Kim Myungsoo playing the male lead role as Sung Yi Gyeom, Kwon Nara as the female lead named Hong Da In, and Lee Yi Kyung as Park Chun Sam (Kim Myungsoo’s best friend).
Moreover, Lee Tae Hwan will join the casts as Sung Yi Beom, the head of a group of fire fighters and Sung Yi Gyeom’s (Kim Myungsoo) half-brother.
He who wanted to be like his brother, became a thief after how many years and changed to fierce and firm feature like a beast.
But his personality hasn’t change and still have a soft spot in his heart. He will reunite with his brother, Sung Yi Gyeom by leading the rebellion to kill the corrupt officials.
New Secret Royal Inspector is a historical drama that tells the story of the secret royal inspector, a unique job that existed only in the Joseon Dynasty in Korea.
They are government officials who are appointed to be the voice of the people and ears of the king, but they could not reveal their true selves.
Their achievements are close to the realization of justice that many people wanted on the modern day.
The said drama is directed by PD Kim Jung Min and written by writers Park Sung Hoon and Kang Min Sun. It will be produced by iWill Media.
