Sky Castle and Extraordinary You star Kim Hye Yoon confirmed the female lead role in JTBC’s new drama Snowdrop.
With this, she will be reuniting with her Sky Castle team as it is also directed and written by the same director and writer of the 2019 highest-rated drama, Sky Castle.
Sidus HQ, the actress’ agency, shared on August 24, “Kim Hye Yoon was cast as the lead in the new drama, Snowdrop.” Moreover, she is now preparing for the filming of the said drama.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is also one of the lead casts as it was confirmed by a source from YG Entertainment on August 18. But there’s no any updates regarding the characters they will going to portray.

South Korean actress Kim Hye Yoon is reportedly to cast as female lead in JTBC’s upcoming drama Snowdrop.
According to the reports of Joy News on June 18, Kim Hye Yoon receives a proposal to appear in the new drama Snowdrop under JTBC. However, there’s no any confirmation yet as it is still under discussion.
Snowdrop will be directed by Jo Hyun Tak and written by Yoo Hyun Mi who already work together in the 2018 family-hit drama Sky Castle.
If Kim Hye Yoon will accept the said offer, she will be uniting with her Sky Castle team.
In Sky Castle, she plays the character of Kang Ye Seo, the spoiled and intelligent daughter of Han Seo Jin and Kang Joon Sang.
Moreover, she is also known in her excellent role in the 2019 MBC drama Extraordinary You.
